We will gather this evening at 7:00 PM for a very moving service for Maundy Thursday. The service includes communion, remembering the Last Supper of Jesus with His disciples in the Upper Room.
And then we will experience a Service of Tenebrae (darkness), wherein the Passion (suffering) story of Jesus is retold as the lights in the Sanctuary are dramatically lowered until, finally, extinguished entirely as we remember Jesus’ death on the cross. If you’ve never been to a Tenebrae service, come! You will be moved.
This service will NOT be live streamed, so you have to be present to experience it.
