Fat (or Shrove) Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday, and traditionally it is a day of feasting on the foods and activities that one must fast from during Lent, such as sugar and fat (butter, oil, etc). Over the years, it has become a day to use up all of those things so that they are not around to tempt us!

In French, Fat Tuesday is Mardi Gras!

We are going to celebrate our own Fat Tuesday on Tuesday, February 21st, with a pancake and bacon supper at 6:30 PM. We are inviting our new friends from Free Life Community Church as well!

So plan now to come and enjoy some delicious pancakes and bacon, and maybe some fun jokes (bring your funniest, clean jokes!), but the best part is the fellowship of believers in the Lord! There is no cost, but a free will offering will be received to cover the expenses. And wear fun, festive garb as well!
