The terrible news of killer tornados in Kentucky and elsewhere greeted us this morning on the news. We recoil at the many deaths and massive destruction. Feelings of helplessness can be over-whelming!

But there is something we can do. Our United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is one of the premier disaster relief organizations in the world. They are often first-in and last-out in areas hit by natural and human-made disasters. And because the over-head for UMCOR is covered by our mission giving (apportionments), 100% of the funds raised for disaster relief goes to the mission field directly.
