Due to Covid-19, political division, US/China tensions, election mistrust, BLM/Antifa riots, etc. I have witnessed more fear, anger, distrust, anger, and frustration than I ever have in my lifetime. And just when things seem to be settling down, crisis like Covid-19 surges and Afghanistan happen. It would be easy to fall into dispair and believe that there have never been such turbulent times in our country. It would be easy that is, if we did not have faith in a God who assures us that he has seen it all and will work even the worst of situations for good.
We know that God often works throught painful situations to bring about the most good, but somethimes it doesn’t feel that way. It’s in the trying times that we need to lean into what we know, rather than giving in to what we feel.
Fear is a Liar!
Ecclesiastes 1:9
What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; there is nothing new under the sun.
Romans 8:28
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
