This Sunday, June 20th, is Father’s Day and we will have a special preacher delivering the Word to us. Pastor Helena Titus will bring a sermon titled “#letitgo” based on Isaiah 43:18-19.

Rev. H (as she is known) is a native of Los Angeles who has a long and deep family history of public service. She is a former public school teacher, special education advocate, and vocational rehabilitation consultant. Licensed and ordained in a non-denominational church since 2007, she is a graduate of Simmons College and Claremont School of Theology where she graduated with honors earning a Master of Divinity degree in May 2012. She concluded a 7 year tenure as a part time local pastor with The United Methodist Church in Los Angeles in June 2019.

Rev. H took a leap of faith and entered a new season of ministry under Disciples in Action: Los Angeles, a faith-based non-profit corporation which houses Restoring Hole Christian Fellowship, Helena House, Single and Saved in the City, and PowerGirl Ministries. Grounded in the faith of her youth, the world is her perish! Now, her international internet congregation affectionately refers to her as “Rev. H, Your Personal Pastor”, and has responded to her encouraging and inspiring messages of hope by collectively viewing them over 200,000 times. Pastor Glen and Cyndy are not away, and will be with us to help lead worship this Sunday as well. We look forward to “Rev. H” and her anointed message amongst God’s people!
