This coming Thursday-Saturday, June 17-19, is the sessions of the California-Pacific Annual Conference. Ordinarily, the sessions would be held at the University of Redlands, but this year, again, they will be online via Zoom.

The Fount will send four lay persons to annual conference this year. Ted Smith is our lay member. But we are also blessed to send Nina Smith and Gerry McDaniel as district lay members, along with Dennis Olson who is officially still the South District United Methodist Men’s president. And, of course, Pastor Glen will go as a clergy member!

Be praying for God’s blessing and guidance for our annual conference. These are difficult times, with the schism of the UMC on the horizon (late summer 2022), there are certainly disruptions happening. Pray that the resolution that Pastor Glen, Ted, Nina and Gerry are co-sponsoring to support the Protocol for Separation, is passed by the conference. And pray protection over our delegates, and the Korean members of the conference. Let the Lord’s will be done!
