We have received word that our sister, Kathleen McFarland, has transitioned from this life to life eternal.
Here is a statement from her family:
Our Mom graduated today. We’re thrilled that she is free of her pain and that she is with The One she lived for so fully. We’re deeply grieved for our own loss, and we are so blessed that she outlived the doctor’s initial estimates by more than 8 years, despite massive metastasis of breast cancer.
She passed away this morning at 3:00am, after heroically walking with Kendall and Forrest down the aisle at their respective weddings, the previous two weekends.
We were able to all be here with her this week, and she was lucid and clear up until the last 48 hours. She has been consistently bathed in prayer and scripture, and has now finally met our two oldest siblings and one grandchild in eternity.
We want to thank everyone who has walked with her and with us in prayer over the last decade; your intercession has been invaluable, and we so appreciate your support.
We lift our prayers for this dear family. Glory be to God!
