Readers Needed for Maundy Thursday Service

This year we will once again have a Maundy Thursday service in-person in the Sanctuary on Thursday, April 1st, at 7:30 pm. The service will be a combination Last Supper and Tenebrae service. Tenebrae means “darkness” and the service is marked by a series of readings, hymns/songs, and progressive darkness in the Sanctuary.

There is a need for readers to do 16 readings during the service. The readings are Scripture that tell the story of Christ’s passion (suffering).

If you would like to volunteer to be a reader, please email Pastor Glen (pastorglen@thefount.church) and let him know. You will be sent your reading(s) early in Holy Week, along with instructions.

Thank you!
