9:00 AM Service Cancelled for January 3rd.

Because a member of our staff has tested positive for COVID-19, out of an abundance of caution, we are cancelling our 9:00 am outdoor worship service this Sunday, January 3, 2021. This staff member has not been on campus since Christmas Eve, but several people were in contact with them on Christmas Eve and in the days leading up to it. Those with significant contact have been notified. But if you were present for the outdoor Christmas Eve service, please watch for symptoms carefully and consider getting tested if any develop.

Our 10:30 live stream worship service will happen as usual, but in a scaled-back version with only Pastor Glen present at the church. All other staff and team members are advised to stay at home. After Sunday evening, the 10 days since Christmas Eve will be past and we will be able to resume regular activity with precautions.

The church office will be closed today, Thursday, December 31st, and tomorrow (it is usually closed on Fridays). Calls to the church office will be forwarded to Julie Laffoon working from home

This is just a reminder that COVID-19 is a nasty virus, and while the vast majority of those infected survive, it is still very dangerous and it affects different people differently. It is not to be toyed with! Please be careful, take precautions, and do not take unnecessary risks. For the sake of others, be wise!

We expect that our 9:00 service will resume on January 10th. If need be, you will be notified if this is not the case.

Let us hold each other in prayer.
