You are invited to make this Advent a great, and spiritually enriching experience with your church family!

We are going to be using the new Advent study by J.D. Walt, titled “The Christian New Year.” The study will include daily devotionals, weekly sermons, and a weekly Zoom gathering with video component and discussion of the daily readings (if enough people desire it).

The readings begin on December 1st both in the book and on the Daily Text devotional, which Pastor Glen shares each morning at 9:00 AM on Facebook Live. To order a copy of the book, click here. You don’t have to have the book, but it is nice to have something in your hands to read! The same material will be presented in the Daily Text devotional at no cost.

Pastor Glen will preach a four-part series on the theme of “The Christian New Year”:

November 29th: “A New Year of Awakening” (Romans 13:11-12)
December 6th: “A New Year of Anticipation” (Revelation 21:1-4)
December 13th: “A New Year of Priority” (Matthew 1:18-25)
December 20th: “A New Year of Faith” (Luke 1:26-38)

On Monday evenings, starting November 30th, Pastor Glen will host a Zoom gathering on the topic, with a video component by J.D. Walt, the author of the study.
