You’ve been hearing about band meetings for some time. Band meetings were the early Methodist way of making disciples grow deeper in their walk with the Lord. Coupled with class meetings (our Life Groups), the band meeting was for those disciples who wanted to take the next steps into discipleship growth. Well, The Fount is ready to launch our version of the band meeting, called Discipleship Groups.

Pastor Glen just finished offering a class on Band Meetings. Those who completed the class, and others, are ready to form Discipleship Groups, which are small groups of 3 to 5 members, same gender and relative age and life status. The Discipleship Groups form around questions like “What sins have you committed since we last met?” and “How has God delivered you from those sins?” Discipleship Groups are not for the faint of heart! But they are for those who desire a deeper walk with the Lord.
