As a congregational member of the Wesleyan Covenant Association (WCA), The Fount family is invited to come to Redlands during Annual Conference to hear the WCA speaker, Rev. Kenneth Levingston. He will be speaking at the Friday evening, June 14th, WCA Dinner and the Saturday morning, June 15th, WCA Breakfast. Both events will be held in the cafe adjacent to the Irving Commons (the main dining hall at conference).
Over the past 35 years, Pastor Levingston has pastored fruitful congregations in rural, urban, suburban, and multicultural settings within the Texas Annual Conference. He has led his congregations in offering salvation in the name of Jesus Christ to everyone without distinction. He has a passion that those who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior would become deeply committed disciples who disciple others in Jesus’ name.
Pastor Levingston was appointed to Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas on September 1, 2008. The church membership has increased from a little more than 600 to over 1800. Jones Memorial provides Bible based ministries that meet the spiritual and everyday needs of its mission field to come to know the transforming love of Jesus Christ.
Friday evening’s presentation begins at 5:00 PM, and Saturday morning’s at 7:00 AM. When you arrive on the campus of the University of Redlands (1200 E. Colton Ave., Redlands) ask for directions to “Irving Commons” or “the dining hall”. Bring your own meal. There is no cost for either event.
