It is my deepest sorrow to inform The Fount family that Pat Stoaks has passed away suddenly. She died peacefully at her home last night and was found this morning, August 29th.

Our hearts are broken, and words seem so inadequate. But let The Word speak for and to us.
“The Lord hears His people when they call to Him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” (Psalm 34:17-18 NLT).

This is hard for all of us, so let’s be gentle with each other. Pat was involved in literally everything here at The Fount, so it will not be easy to carry on. But carry on we will, and in Pat’s honor, we will do so with vim and vigor! It is too early to know when a memorial service will be scheduled, but we will certainly seek the Lord’s compassion and mercy this Sunday morning.

May the peace of the Lord our God be with us and with Pat’s family.
