Messy Church

“We are the family of God, and He’s brought us together to be one in him, that we might bring light to the world.”  These words from a popular worship song were central to February’s Messy Church where we discussed the idea that our Church family is as important as our biological family, sometimes even more so.  With Christ as the head of the household, some of us even have a better family life with the Family of God than with our own flesh and blood.  Joy Goebel led a table demonstrating the different components of blood (plasma, platelets, red blood cells etc.) using common household items,  Jerry Jensen built marshmallow launchpads to launch us into the family of God and Peggy Jensen helped kids make crowns as princes and princesses to the King of Kings.  We were happy to be joined by Dennis Olsen and his visiting grandson Luke!  Join us in March when we’ll be talking about the two criminals who died beside Jesus.
