In a growing awareness that big change is coming to the UMC, five people will be flying to Chicago to attend the October 7th inaugural conference of the Wesleyan Covenant Association (WCA, http://wesleyancovenant.org). The Church Council approved support for the trip, deriving funds from special gifts from Church Council members. The five who will represent The Fount at the event are: George Mulak, Karl Baumgardner, Ric Seaver, Lety Seaver and Pastor Glen Haworth.
Please pray for our attendees. And pray for the WCA conference (for which over 1600 people have registered), that God will guide and empower these orthodox, evangelical United Methodists to lead the denomination into a faithful future.
