As the father of two kids under five years old I know that life can get pretty hectic. Many families struggle with the idea of attending church together. With work, sports, school, and other activities Parents and their kids already don’t get enough time together as a family. Many parents also struggle with knowing how to disciple their kids. I don’t blame parents for this, it’s not easy. That’s where the church can and should come alongside families. Starting this Fall we’ll be hosting Messy Church on the third Friday of each month. Messy Church is for all people, not just kids. It will be a space for all people, young and old, to use their hands and minds to experience God and the church in an unconventional way. Enjoy a friendly dinner together before joining in exploring our faith through art, music and experiments. Main dish provided, bring a side to share. If you would like to assist with this project, please sign up on the link on the website home page.
