FVUMC is pleased to announce the hiring of Jonathan Kupper as our new Worship Leader/Music Minister who began his ministry with us on February 7^th!  Jonathan is a composer, pianist, worship leader and musical director whose artistic endeavors have taken him throughout the United States and the world.   He has received numerous awards & honors and has studied and received scholarships from the Eastman School of Music, New England Conservatory, New York University, University of Southern California, Oregon Bach Festival, Aspen Music Festival, and Interlochen Festival.   As a pianist, he has toured throughout the U.S. and Italy, and has previously served as Music Director/conductor for: Back to Bachrach, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, A Xmas Carol, OUR TOWN: 75^th Anniversary, Nuncrackers, Fiddler on the Roof (Southeast CLO), and Bat Boy (LB Playhouse).  He has served for many years in church-related ministries, including most recently as the Director of Music at Buena Park First Congregational Church.   Jonathan and his wife, Adrienne, have two children: Evelyn 3, and David, 22 months.
