On Sunday, October 4^th, we will be observing World Communion Sunday. It is our normal practice to celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month, but the first Sunday of October is special. On this Sunday, Christians all over the world celebrate Holy Communion.

United Methodists also receive a special offering for World Communion Sunday which benefits ethnic minority students.
