Maybe you\u2019ve heard this saying before, \u201cNothing in life is free, you always pay in the end\u201d.\u00a0 In some ways this statement is very true. Whether we pay with money, time, and even our physical investment, there is a cost to live in this world. It can be overwhelming at times because the more we do the more it costs, and the more it costs the more we might question, what is the point to all this? Is life just about obtaining stuff so we can just survive ?This almost feels like a trap, even a prison.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Even in the times of the Bible, there was a cost to live. If you wanted your sins to be washed you had to make a payment to the temples. If you wanted blessings you had to pay homage to the idols.\u00a0 People wanted freedom, a way out, they needed a way out but sadly the world couldn\u2019t provide answers until Jesus came to earth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Jesus taught that there was freedom, how to live a free life, how to live a life of peace, and it wasn\u2019t by doing more, by doing good, or even paying for it. It was by trusting and obeying in Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have to remember that we all pay for something. We pay for more time, we pay for more stuff, and we pay to have a little bit more happiness. However, the things that we pay for in the world are only temporary because the next time you feel down, I guarantee you’ll pay for it again.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

God gave us something called grace which means God\u2019s undeserved favor and it’s Free !!! We don\u2019t have to earn, we don’t have to buy, and we don\u2019t have to work for it. God gives us His favor for Free that we don\u2019t deserve because He loves us unconditionally. And he did it by sending us His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins so that we can have a Free life in Him. If you haven\u2019t accepted his grace of salvation, accept it today. And the next time you feel overwhelmed and trapped by the world, look at the cross and know that in Christ we\u2019re Free.<\/span><\/p>\n
