The pandemic has changed the world in many ways! Not the least of which involves how we interact with the church, especially in worshipping and tithing. But we have made accommodations to enable everyone to give in ways that are understandable and convenient.<\/p>\n
Did you know that during the pandemic, our online giving has increased dramatically? Last year, we had nearly $40,000 given online through our website portal (including app and text giving)! This is a healthy chunk of our annual budget, and it keeps growing. There is a cost involved in online giving (about 3%), but for the convenience it is worth it. Some have opted to have their bank send a check to the church on their behalf (bill pay), which doesn’t incur a fee. Some mail their checks to the church office\u00a0or drop them off in the “Joy Box” at the back of the Sanctuary on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
Unlike many churches, our giving during the pandemic has not suffered greatly! Praise God! The faithfulness of the congregation is encouraging, and it speaks to the spiritual maturity of the members and friends of The Fount.<\/p>\n
