The God Who Walks Through Fires With Us<\/h1>\n

While reading Daniel 3:13-18 for this Sunday’s sermon, verses 17-18 really stood out for me:\u00a017 “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver\u00a0us from it, and he will deliver\u00a0us\u00a0from Your Majesty\u2019s hand.\u00a018\u00a0<\/sup>But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”<\/em><\/p>\n

I noticed that in the case of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, their lives were preserved but they still had to go into the fire. Notice that God did not deliver them\u00a0from<\/strong>\u00a0the fire, He protected them\u00a0in<\/strong>\u00a0the fire.<\/p>\n

I encourage you to listen to the song below, allowing yourself a few minutes today to worship and find comfort in the God who walks through fires with us.<\/p>\n
