I&#8217;d love to hear what you think about the verses this week as well.\u00a0 Feel free to respond by email, Facebook or Instagram.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Luke 1:26-38\u00a0NLT<\/h3>\n<p><sup>26\u00a0<\/sup>In the sixth month of Elizabeth\u2019s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee,\u00a0<sup>27\u00a0<\/sup>to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David.\u00a0<sup>28\u00a0<\/sup>Gabriel appeared to her and said, \u201cGreetings,\u00a0favored woman! The Lord is with you!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><sup>29\u00a0<\/sup>Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean.\u00a0<sup>30\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cDon\u2019t be afraid, Mary,\u201d the angel told her, \u201cfor you have found favor with God!\u00a0<sup>31\u00a0<\/sup>You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.\u00a0<sup>32\u00a0<\/sup>He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David.\u00a0<sup>33\u00a0<\/sup>And he will reign over Israel\u00a0forever; his Kingdom will never end!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><sup>34\u00a0<\/sup>Mary asked the angel, \u201cBut how can this happen? I am a virgin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><sup>35\u00a0<\/sup>The angel replied, \u201cThe Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.\u00a0<sup>36\u00a0<\/sup>What\u2019s more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age!
