{"id":2774,"date":"2017-03-01T08:49:23","date_gmt":"2017-03-01T16:49:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thefount.church\/church\/?p=2774"},"modified":"2017-02-23T12:18:11","modified_gmt":"2017-02-23T20:18:11","slug":"lenten-study-like-a-flood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefount.church\/church\/2017\/03\/01\/lenten-study-like-a-flood\/","title":{"rendered":"Lenten Study:  Like a Flood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Fount will be offering a study during Lent called \u201cLike a Flood\u201d, using the book by the same name.\u00a0 George Mulak will be leading this fascinating study of our culture and the Gospel on Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM in Room 205 at the church.<\/p>\n<p>We all know that our culture is changing rapidly and that many of the changes happening are contradictory to God\u2019s revealed will and desire for the world.\u00a0 Lisa Cherry (the author of <i>Like a Flood<\/i>) calls this \u201cthe dark flood.\u201d\u00a0 But the good news is that no cultural changes can derail God\u2019s plan because God is more powerful than any dark flood!\u00a0 What can God\u2019s people do?<\/p>\n<p>Come and participate in this five-week study.\u00a0 The cost is $20 per person ($30 for couples who can share a book).
