If our mission is to \u201cMake Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World\u201d,\u00a0 how would you envision going about that?\u00a0 And what will our church look like when it is accomplishing its mission?<\/p>\n
These are questions I want to encourage every member of The Fount to prayerfully consider.\u00a0 Take these questions to your prayer closet and lift them up to the Lord daily.\u00a0 As we begin our \u201cVision 2020\u201d campaign, I need every member of the church family to be consistently in prayer about our future and what God would have us do and become.<\/p>\n
As I said last month, every Christian should be in ministry.\u00a0 That means that we all need to examine our gifts and abilities and seek God\u2019s guidance as to how He would have us use those gifts and abilities in the work of the Kingdom.\u00a0 Are you gifted in teaching?\u00a0 How are you using that gift for the Kingdom?\u00a0 Are you gifted in helping?\u00a0 Whom are you helping for the Kingdom?\u00a0 Is your gift that when you pray for people they are healed?\u00a0 How are you using that gift?\u00a0 Does your heart break for the poor?\u00a0 In what ways are you serving the poor?\u00a0 Every single one of us must be engaged in a ministry that aligns with our mission to \u201cMake Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World.\u201d<\/p>\n
