Back in October I had the opportunity to go to Chicago with a few members of our church for the Wesleyan Covenant Association (WCA) conference.\u00a0 First, let me just say I was super nervous\u2014first plane ride for Olivia (she was only 6 months old) and I wasn’t sure at all how she would do (she did great by the way).\u00a0 Once that was out of the way I had a great time. The conference was enlightening and the worship was awesome. I didn\u2019t know much about the WCA going into this, but learning about it and getting to understand it, was what the conference really was for me.\u00a0 Sticking to our Christian principle and what we stand for is important.\u00a0 I’m happy and\u00a0 reassured about the direction that\u00a0 the denomination is going.\u00a0 I enjoyed the speakers and the atmosphere, even though not very many young families were there.\u00a0 We did find the one family with a little boy just Olivia’s age and were able to talk and share with them.\u00a0 I also enjoyed our group and the pizza!\u00a0 All and all I had a good experience and I’m thankful I went.<\/p>\n
