{"id":1652,"date":"2016-01-08T09:00:54","date_gmt":"2016-01-08T17:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fountainvalleyumc.org\/church\/?p=1652"},"modified":"2016-01-07T14:16:31","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T22:16:31","slug":"re-digging-the-wells-of-gospel-swamp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefount.church\/church\/2016\/01\/08\/re-digging-the-wells-of-gospel-swamp\/","title":{"rendered":"Re-Digging the Wells of Gospel Swamp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For much of January, Pastor Glen will preach a series of sermons entitled \u201cRe-digging the Wells of Gospel Swamp.\u201d\u00a0 Starting January 10<sup>th<\/sup>, come and hear messages that focus on the historic revival tradition in our area called \u201cGospel Swamp.\u201d\u00a0 In the earliest years of settlement in what is now Fountain Valley, Christians would hold revival meetings in tents, preaching the Gospel of Salvation, leading to many commitments to follow Jesus!\u00a0 This is our geographic heritage, and Pastor Glen wants to encourage us to \u201cre-dig\u201d the wells from which this history was watered.<\/p>\n<p>The series runs from January 10<sup>th<\/sup> through January 31<sup>st<\/sup>.
